Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he believes Transformers 5: The Last Knight will bring ‘something new and something different’ for fans of the franchise – and that fans will ‘appreciate the direction that he movie’ has been taken in.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Mark admitted that by announcing there would be mini-dinobots in the upcoming sequel he had ‘already revealed too much’, but that fans should also expect ‘a few other surprises’.

The film currently has confirmed appearances of autobots, decepticons, mini-dinobots, King Arthur, Nazis – and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

During our chat, Mark also admitted that he believed director Michael Bay meant ‘no disrespect’ when he draped Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, in Nazi flags for the new Transformer movie.

And he said that no one should ever believe Michael when he says a Transformer movie is his last one…
